To mark the 100th Anniversary of the start of WW1, the Community Council have sown a poppy shaped display in the field behind the public toilets. The poppies which will flower later this year will be accompanied by planters around the cenotaph. These have been planted to coincide with National recognition of this event. A collection box for the Royal British Legion is available in the Post Office for anyone wishing to make a donation to this worthy cause
